Welcome Mr. Amit Yashavant Vesane to the SANKUKAI Family!

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Amit Yashavant Vesane to the SANKUKAI Family!

He becomes the third member from Karnataka to join our growing network and will play a key role in strengthening our presence in the state.

Mr. Amit has been appointed as an Executive Member of SANKUKAI Karnataka and will be working closely with the state team to promote traditional martial arts and support organizational activities.

Sensei Ashok Pradhan, Technical Director of SANKUKAI Asia and currently serving as the Acting Chief Instructor, expressed his happiness over the new addition. “We are glad to have Mr. Amit join us. His energy and commitment will surely bring new momentum to SANKUKAI Karnataka,” said Sensei Pradhan.

With this enthusiastic inclusion, we are optimistic about the growth and vibrancy of state-level activities in Karnataka. The SANKUKAI spirit continues to unite passionate martial artists across regions, and Mr. Amit’s involvement marks another step in that mission.

SANKUKAI’s Kyoka-Rensyu Seminar with Soke Takeshi Kitagawa – May 3rd, 2025

The spirit of traditional Karate was alive and thriving as SANKUKAI successfully conducted the Kyoka-Rensyu Seminar on 3rd May 2025, under the direct guidance of Soke Takeshi Kitagawa. This online seminar marked the beginning of a new chapter in our ongoing commitment to preserve and refine the authentic teachings of Karate-Do.

Karatekas from across regions joined virtually for this high-level training session, which focused on the deep application MAE GERI—. The session was intense, insightful, and inspiring, embodying the spirit of discipline and constant evolution that defines SANKUKAI.

Led by Soke Takeshi Kitagawa, the founder and global head of SANKUKAI,  the seminar delivered not just techniques, but also the wisdom and philosophy behind every movement. His teaching emphasized the importance of correct form, timing, distance, and mindset & HOW TO CONNECT BODY AND GENERATE SPEED AND POWER all rooted in the authentic spirit of traditional Shotokan Karate.

🗓️ A Monthly Commitment to Excellence

This seminar is not a one-time event. From now on, Kyoka-Rensyu will be conducted on the first Saturday of every month, giving Karate practitioners a recurring opportunity to upgrade their skills directly from Soke himself. These sessions are a part of our structured training system aimed at raising the technical and spiritual standards of SANKUKAI members around the world.

Participation in at least one Kyoka-Rensyu session is mandatory for those aspiring to take the Black Belt Examination. It serves as a filter for seriousness, a test of dedication, and a golden chance to learn from the highest authority in our system.

A Historic Milestone for SANKUKAI Karate!

76 New Black Belts Awarded at DAN Grading – April 2025

On 27th April 2025, history was made in the annals of Nihon Shotokan Karate-Do SANKUKAI as the prestigious DAN Grading Examination was successfully conducted at Issaacs Regency, Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad. This landmark event marked not only a test of skill but a celebration of dedication, discipline, and the warrior spirit.

🎯 76 Warriors Rise to the Rank of Black Belt

 

In a powerful display of commitment and perseverance, 76 dedicated aspirants earned their Black Belt, symbolizing the culmination of years of disciplined practice, mental fortitude, and unwavering passion for Karate.

Each candidate displayed exceptional focus and determination, proving themselves worthy of this revered milestone in the martial arts journey.

🖥️ Global Leadership – A Grading Led by Soke Himself

The grading was conducted under the online supervision of
🎖️ Soke Takeshi Kitagawa,
World Head of the SANKUKAI Organization.

Despite the physical distance, Soke’s presence and direct observation elevated the intensity and authenticity of the event, ensuring global standards were upheld in every evaluation.

 

🏕️ Intensive Residential Camp with Kyoshi Arun Dev

In preparation for the grading, an intensive residential camp was organized and led by:

SANKUKAI Headquarters conducted DAN Grading for Indian family members on  18th September 2022 at Bootland Sports Academy, Kattangal, Kozhikode, Kerala-INDIA.  Soke Takeshi Kitagawa observed each applicant online and Khyoshi Arun Dev observed them offline.

SANKUKAI Brazil

The first team of SANKUKAI Black belts from Brazil

31st October 2021, Headquarters, Nihon Shotokan Karate Do SANKUKAI.

Under the Leadership of Sensei Michael Amaral Morais SANKUKAI Brazil is heading towards the next level. 4 members of SANKUKAI Brazil had appeared for the Grading Examination conducted by the SANKUKAI Examination Board and have successfully passed.  

 

 

Sensei Michael Amaral Marais was appointed as the chief Instructor of SANKUKAI Brazil and was graded 6th Degree of Black Belt in Nihon Shotokan Karate Do SANKUKAI in November 2020.  Since then Sensei Michael was tirelessly working for the development of SANKUKAI  in Brazil.  Even in the pandemic situation team Brazil worked hard, and was doing lots of activities.  

 

 SANKUKAI Brazil is planned to have international seminar by Soke Takeshi Kitagawa in Brazil,  other Dojos are also going to join the main stream. .
