A Championship with Vision and Legacy

The SANKUKAI Cup is conducted under the guidance and blessings of Soke Takeshi Kitagawa, President & Shuseki Shihan of Nihon Shotokan Karate-Do SANKUKAI®, whose lifelong dedication to preserving authentic Japanese Shotokan Karate continues to inspire Karatekas worldwide.

Season 2 builds upon the success of the inaugural edition, aiming to raise competitive standards while maintaining the traditional Budo values that define SANKUKAI.


Event Organization & Leadership

The championship is organized by SANKUKAI Goa and powered by No Surrender Karate & Fitness Academy, Goa, with a strong organizing team ensuring transparency, professionalism, and athlete-focused management.

Key leadership roles include:

Competition Categories & Rules

The SANKUKAI Cup 2026 will feature Kata and Kumite events across multiple age and belt categories, including:

  • Kiddies, Sub-Juniors, Cadets, Juniors, Seniors

  • Colour Belt Categories

  • Black Belt Categories

The championship will be conducted in accordance with updated WKF rules, with qualified referees and judges ensuring fair play and athlete safety.

All participants will receive participation certificates, while winners will be honored with medals and merit certificates, recognizing excellence and effort alike.
