About the Instructor – Soke Takeshi Kitagawa
Soke Takeshi Kitagawa is widely regarded as one of the most decorated living legends of Shotokan Karate in the 3rd Generation lineage.
A direct student of the great masters Masatoshi Nakayama and Tetsuhiko Asai, he carries forward the authentic technical depth, philosophy, and spirit of traditional Japanese Karate.
Holding the prestigious 9th Degree Black Belt, Soke Kitagawa has dedicated his life to preserving and evolving Shotokan Karate across the world. His teaching is known for its precision, deep understanding of biomechanics, and practical application of traditional techniques in modern contexts. Training under him is not just physical—it is a complete martial arts experience rooted in discipline, timing, and true Budo spirit.
