The SANKUKAI community in Kozhikode celebrates a landmark moment as Sensei Mohandas C.U. is officially promoted to the status of SANKUKAI Instructor and appointed as the Chief Instructor of SANKUKAI Kozhikode. With more than 30 years of dedicated teaching experience in Karate, his appointment marks a new chapter of excellence and tradition in the Kozhikode region under the prestigious Nihon Shotokan Karate-Do SANKUKAI Asia system.

📢 Grand Announcement: Gasshuku SANKUKAI Kozhikode
To commemorate this appointment and unify the SANKUKAI dojos of the region, Sensei Mohandas C.U. has announced a major martial arts event – Gasshuku SANKUKAI Kozhikode.
🔥 Highlights of the Event:
- Participation of more than 300 students from across Locality
- Inclusion of senior instructors and black belts representing multiple SANKUKAI branches
- Intensive training sessions in kihon (basics), kata (forms), kumite (sparring), and Bunkai
- Technical corrections and mastery sessions for instructors and KYU grade students
🥋 Lead by Kyoshi Arun Dev
The Gasshuku will be led by Kyoshi Arun Dev, the President & Head Instructor of Nihon Shotokan Karate-Do SANKUKAI Asia and Secretary General, SANKUKAI World Organization whose leadership and vision continue to uplift the standard of traditional Karate across the continent.
“This Gasshuku will not only celebrate the promotion of Sensei Mohandas but will also become a technical landmark for SANKUKAI Kozhikode. We expect it to inspire unity, discipline, and renewed purpose among all Karatekas of the region,” said Kyoshi Arun Dev.
